Accessing Device Details

Click on any device in the device list to open its detail view. The detail page provides a comprehensive overview of the device's hardware, software, security, and management state.

Sections

General & Hardware

Displays basic identity and hardware information:

• Name — The device name set by the user or MDM.
• Serial Number — The device's unique hardware serial.
• UDID — Unique Device Identifier used for MDM enrollment.
• Model — The model identifier (e.g., MacBookPro18,3).
• Chip — Processor model (e.g., Apple M2 Pro, Intel Core i7).
• RAM — Total physical memory.
• OS Version — Installed OS version (e.g., macOS 14.5, iOS 17.5).
• Color — Device color (iOS/iPadOS only).
• Battery — Current battery level and cycle count (macOS).

Hardware Catalog

Pulls marketing-level hardware details for the device model:

• Marketing Name — Consumer-facing name (e.g., "MacBook Pro 16-inch 2023").
• Specs — Display size, resolution, ports, weight.
• Release Year — Year the model was introduced.

Storage

A breakdown of disk usage:

• Used — Space consumed by data and applications.
• Available — Free space remaining.
• Total — Total storage capacity of the primary drive.

Security

Security-related attributes for the device:

• FileVault (macOS) — Whether full-disk encryption is enabled.
• SIP (macOS) — System Integrity Protection status (enabled / disabled).
• Passcode — Whether a device passcode is set.
• Activation Lock — Whether Find My Activation Lock is active.
• Find My — Whether the Find My service is enabled.

Network

Network interface identifiers and cellular information:

• WiFi MAC — MAC address of the Wi-Fi interface.
• Bluetooth MAC — MAC address of the Bluetooth interface.
• IMEI — International Mobile Equipment Identity (cellular devices).
• Carrier — Cellular carrier name (iOS/iPadOS).

Installed Applications

A searchable, paginated list of all applications installed on the device. Each entry shows the app name, version, and bundle identifier. Use the search bar to filter by app name.

Profiles

Lists all installed configuration profiles, including:

• Profile display name.
• Identifier and UUID.
• Installation date and expiration date (if any).
• Whether the profile is signed and verified.

Refreshing Device Data

Device data is fetched on page load. To pull the latest information from the device, use the Refresh button in the detail view header. This sends a new MDM command to the device and updates the displayed data once the device responds.
